Lauren McMillan Pilates Teacher at Nimble and Wild and her dog, Alfie.

I am sooo passionate about movement and helping others improve their well-being both physically and mentally, through the practice of Pilates.

Through my own experiences, I have come to understand the profound impact that movement can have on anyone.

Now my mission is to share this knowledge and help others improve their overall wellness through movement.

I trained as a professional dancer and Pilates became an integral part; it helped with my technique, my form and I became more in tune with my muscle physiology.

Having practised Pilates extensively throughout my dance training, I deeply understand the benefits and rewards Pilates brings to your bodies. I can’t wait to share this with you.

Meet Lotty Campbell Bird

PILATES & BARRE TEACHER AND YOGA TEACHER IN TRAINING

LOTTY CAMPBELL BIRD PILATES TEACHER

I’m passionate about mindful movement and on a mission to empower as many people as possible to become stronger, healthier and happier through the practice of Pilates.

I fell in love with dancing and singing at a young age, which led me to study dance and musical theatre to degree level and then working professionally in musicals in London’s West End and in theatres across the UK.

I was first introduced to Pilates whilst training in dance and remember connecting with the practice straight away. I loved how it made me feel stronger and helped my dance technique as it improved my posture, balance, stability, power and mobility.

I’ve been teaching Barre and Pilates for over 10 years.  I’m an early bird and like to teach and work out before I start my working day.

My classes are technical but also creative and fun as I like to get you to think about how and why you are moving in certain ways.  You’ll feel challenged but aware of how each movement is a tool to strengthen your body.

I truly believe movement is medicine and finding a form of exercise that you love is so important and can be life changing.

If my classes can be even a small part of inspiring someone to get active then that gives me such joy.

Meet Louise Brown

PILATES MAT TEACHER

I’m a mum to a gymnastic mad girl, we live in Kemble with our crazy sausage dog Winnie!  Born and bred in Scotland although I have lived here the majority of my life.  I love being outdoors, walking, canoeing, cycling, and being with my friends.

I'm passionate about supporting people to develop physically and mentally.  I have worked in education and community settings teaching dance and movement for over 20 years.

I have witnessed first hand the positive impact of movement and Pilates on people's lives and can’t wait to share this with you.

As a young gymnast and dancer, I found Pilates about 20 years ago.   Pilates was used as a rehabilitation tool due to injury.  I found Pilates again when I was pregnant which quickly rekindled my love for it, leading me to start my Polestar Pilates teaching course.

Alongside Pilates, I run an arts charity delivering workshops across Gloucestershire. Our aim is to connect people to creativity and nature for those who traditionally miss out, due to disability, or financial barriers.

I have a specialism in supporting disabled people to access movement possibilities and this is something I aim to explore further in my Pilates practice.
